Terms and conditions

Who we are

MOKA runs the MOKA café and its website and ordering app at Hotel Buddha Avenue, Medical College Road, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean MOKA, and “you” means the guest placing the order.

Ordering online

• You can build an order from anywhere, but it can only be placed when you are close to MOKA (checked by your phone's location for the drive-through and takeaway), or seated at a table and ordering with its QR code.
• Online orders are paid in full when they are placed. An order reaches the kitchen only after the payment is confirmed.
• After payment you receive a token number. Please keep it: the order is handed over against the token, or against your car number at the drive-through.
• We may pause online ordering for short periods when the café is very busy or our systems cannot reach the kitchen. You can still order at the counter or window.

Prices, tax and payment

• All prices are in Indian rupees (₹). The menu shows whether GST is included or added at the bill.
• Online payments are processed by Cashfree Payments. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• At the café you can pay by cash, UPI or card.
• Prices and availability can change. The price you pay is the one shown when you place the order.

Collecting your order

MOKA does not deliver. Orders are collected at the drive-through window, at the counter, or served at your table. Please collect your order promptly so it is enjoyed fresh. See the pickup and service policy.

Allergies and dietary needs

Each item is marked veg, egg or non-veg. Our kitchen handles milk, wheat, nuts, eggs and other allergens, so we cannot promise any item is free of traces. Please tell us about an allergy before you order.

Cancellations and refunds

See our refunds and cancellations policy.

Using the website and app

• Please use the ordering app only to place genuine orders. We may refuse or cancel orders that look fraudulent or abusive.
• The MOKA name, logo, photographs and text on this website belong to MOKA or are used with permission.
• These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
